Intellivision's return to console manufacturing has been delayed, with its upcoming Amico device now due to launch in April 2021.
The console, which specialises in retro-style games, was originally slated for release on October 10, 2020 -- in the same quarter as the expected launches of PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
But during an online press event today, the company revealed it has delayed the launch by six months to April 15, 2021.
An official release states the decision comes after efforts to "overcome the myriad of obstacles and constraints imposed by the global pandemic."
The console was first unveiled in October 2018 and was made available for pre-order earlier this year. During its first week, it pre-sold over 10,000 units with reports that retailers had ordered more than 100,000 units.

Just in time for the game’s 20th anniversary, the English translation of Digimon Adventure 02: Tag Tamers has been released!
Years in the making, this is the author’s largest project to date. In addition to the translation itself, screen layouts and the game’s code have been altered to better accommodate the longer English names. Several visual glitches from the original game have also been fixed to improve the experience.
Get ready to purify evil Digimon, fuse your Digimon partners together for more power (seriously, you’ll be doing that a lot), and save TWO Digital Worlds! Now you have the opportunity to ponder the question that has stumped fans for over 20 years: How does the timeline between the games, the anime, and the movie even work!?

Crash ‘n’ the Boys continue their rampage through the Western region, this time with Crash ‘n’ the Boys: Technos Cup.
This is a localization of the title screen for Kunio Kun No Nekketsu Soccer League. This patch only changes the title screen.
In the intro story screen, Misako informs the team that they are preparing for the Technos Cup. Thus, the localized title.
