Welcome to this week's toys update. Check out the wonderful collectibles we just got in stock and all the new products made available for preorder.
As toys, especially collectible ones, are produced in limited numbers and are often sold out prior to the actual release date, we strongly recommend to preorder the figures of your desire as early as possible.
As bargain of the week we have the limited edition action figure of Conan Pre-Painted PVC Figure: Black Wolf (Limited Edition) sold at a discounted price of US$ 2.99 only and the maximum purchase is limited to 3 units per customer. Having said that, we keep it like Conan: No words, just actions.
Cool new products from this week include Super Mario Bros Pre-Painted Statue (Medium): Mario and Fire Mario. What makes these products special is that they are larger than all other Mario statues that we ever had (48 cm tall) and constructed to life-like proportions. It is surprising that they don't suddenly come to life and start bouncing across your table top.
Other products that convert your home into a real life Super Mario game are the Super Mario Bros. Sound Drops Gashapon (Edition 2008). Listen to the familiar sounds from the game with a press of a button. The sounds from the eight gashapons are "Start, "Jump", "Big", "Coin", "1up!", "In", "Swim" and "Ouch". You can now stay in the world of Super Mario Brothers even after you have turned your console off.
Aside from the mascot from Nintendo's most beloved game, a Princess from the Moon has graced us with her presence. Brighter than Dawning Blue 1/8 Scale Pre-Painted PVC Figure: Feena Fam (Swimsuit Version) brought out the regal and charming aspects of the girl in a leisurely moment. The straw hat and the pareo she wears around her waist can be taken off.
A fearsome monster, Dynamic Monster Arts Vol. 2 Monster Hunter Pre-Painted Statue Dragon came in this week as a preorder. Although it is a miniature model of the real beast in the game, the statue is completed to the finest degree with every scale on its skin and cuticle on its claw carved in detail.
The lists below show what has been released this week and what is available for preordering.

Hi All,
fMSX is a famous emulator of the MSX, MSX2, and MSX2+ 8bit home computers.
It runs MSX/MSX2/MSX2+ software on many different platforms including Windows and Unix.
See http://fms.komkon.org/fMSX/ for further informations.
It has been first written by Marat Fayzullin, and later Vincent van Dam ported it on SDL.
GP2X-MSX is a port on GP2X of the version 2.7.0.40 of fMSX-SDL from Vincent van Dam
that i had previously ported to PSP.
What's new in this version ?
- Speed improvements in CPU and sound emulation
- Add missing keys such as HOME, GRAPH, STOP
- Add option to increase emulated sound volume
(different from gp2x volume)
- Auto-fire mode, press RTrigger+X to switch it on/off
(useful for games such as 1942)
- RTrigger/LTrigger keys can be used in the keyboard
settings menu to navigate between Normal, LTrigger
and RTrigger compose mapping.
- Add several new hotkeys :
. settings such as fps, render mode, auto fire speed
can now be directly modified inside the emulator
(no need to enter in the settings menu)
. quick save / quick load current state
(no need to enter in the main menu)
- Default Hotkeys can now be set in the keyboard mapping menu
(useful to add hotkeys on existing/previous keyboard files)
How to use it ? Everything is in the README.txt file.
It's distributed under Marat Fayzullin's license for the original MSX part,
and under GNU license for all the GP2X part.

Continuing our network wide feature for just about every console thats emulated and that we own, in time it can be used as a reference point for people to look at what games are the very best on each system
Firstly heres a look at each system and a description to remind you of the history of the console.

Sega 32X / Mega 32X
It was the winter of 1994, and new more powerful consoles were entering the videogame market. Gamers were enjoying new 3D arcade games, and the 16-bit Genesis / Megadrive seemed to be feeling its age. It was January 8th 1994 when Sega CEO Hayao Nakayama directed his company to produce a 32-bit cartridge-based console to be in stores by Christmas 1994. The project was dubbed Jupiter. The project was given to Sega of America while their Japan sector worked on a CD-Based console. Not happy with the idea of developing a simple console that had a 32-bit processor and more colors, Joe Miller of Sega of America chose to make the project an add on for the Genesis / Megadrive. Sega of America began development on the add on called project Mars without any knowledge of the 32-bit CD console being developed by their Japanese counterparts.
Sega began their marketing campaign for project Mars, and called the device Sega 32X to emphasis its 32-bit capabilities. The device, which connected through the Genesis / Megadrive cartridge port, combined its 32-bit processor with the consoles existing processor. Gamers could play 32-bit cartridge games, use the 32X slot as a pass through to play Genesis / Megadrive games, and even play enhanced 32-bit CD games if the Sega CD was attached. The 32X was released in mid-November 1994 in America for US. Japan got the console in December (Super 32X) and Europe and Australia received it in January 1995 (Mega 32X). With the added power, Sega was able to port their 3D arcade titles for console users, and other 3rd Party developers began jumping aboard.
All was not good with planet Mars. The 32X was off to a bad start from the beginning. The 32X was launched with no games initially available. Although it was marketed at a decent price it was not packaged with a pack in game, but came with 10 coupons toward the purchase of 32X software (Couponsmeh!). Retailers submitted a demand for over 1 million units, but only half of the amount was made available. In there efforts to meet demand, Sega produced 32X units with various defects. Customers reported incompatibilities with their Genesis / Megadrive models or TVs. Once again Sega began to scramble to create adapters to alleviate the compatibility problems. They also began to develop an all in one unit combining both the Genesis / Megadrive, and the 32X and dubbed it project Neptune.
By 1995 news of a 32-bit CD-based Sega Saturn began stirring from Japan. Developers lost interest in 32X and abandoned development for 32X carts for a more favorable 32-bit CD format. Gamers also caught wind of the news and quickly began losing interest in the Sega 32X.
By 1996 the 32X saw a total of 31 cart based games, and five 32X enhanced Sega CD games. Most of the games were developed by Sega themselves or were color enhanced versions of existing Genesis titles. Sega ceased all support for 32X that year in order to focus on the Sega Saturn. It would seem that the 32X was merely meant to fill the time gap for its CD based counterpart. 32X would also be Segas final attempt at add on enhancing devices.
FACT: The 32X appeared to be the downturn of Sega. The lack of developer support, device incompatibilities and defects, and the sheer abandonment of support for 32X owners was enough to damage Segas reputation. This mistake could possibly have contributed to problems in Segas later years.
A year prior, Sega fell into issues with congress over a game called Night Trap. The game that stirred up the hornets nest over videogame violence was pulled off retail shelves. This prompted much curiosity and interest in gamers that never got the opportunity to play it. Sega wisely seized an opportunity to cash in by releasing a 32X enhanced version of Night Trap. A major cash in on an otherwise mediocre game.

We already knew what Marshall was capable of when we caught wind of his masterfully assembled portable Nintendo 64, but the modder extraordinaire has really outdone himself this time. As the name implies, The Multari is a portable Atari 2600 with 32 games built right in. The chassis itself was crafted from vacuum-formed styrene plastic, and aside from the colorful buttons and iconic D-pad, there's also a 5-inch display and what appears to be a set of speakers. Mmm, retro never looked so good.

Welcome to this week's Movie/Music news roundup, containing new Japanese and Hong Kong Video and Music releases from this week listed at Play-Asia.com. Around 340 new items are covered in this week, including new J-Pop, Anime as well as Japanese, Hong Kong and Western movie releases and much more.
The young and talented singer and song writer YUI released her third album I Loved Yesterday [standard and limited edition] this spring. Her voice is not compared to an angel's harp for it's soothing timbre alone, but also for the encouraging messages that her songs carried.
Hamasaki Ayumi celebrated the 10th year anniversary of her debut with a new single Mirrorcle World [Type: A, B, C and D]. Instead of singing about love and hope like YUI, Mirrorcle World is about disillusionment and the cold distant society. Check here for all Hamasaki Ayumi's products at Play-Asia.com.
An interesting soundtrack that came out this week is the beatmania IIDX 15 DJ Troopers Original Soundtrack, which includes all the techno/cyber punk dance tracks to the best selling music game.

Super Genintari is the latest mega-console mod by Richard DaLuz, a perfect cocktail of Atari 2600, Nintendo Entertainment System, Genesis and Super NES enclosed in a retro-'80s bronze acrylic case, "formed and shaped on a homemade stript heater." It connects to a TV using a single cable, running four games simultaneously, and probably cooks bread with the generated heat—like the video shows after the jump. We talked with Richard about his superconsole mod:

We're still reeling from Ben Heck's amazing PS3 laptop (which we'll be auctioning off for charity soon) but the man just hit us again with this amazing Apple IIGS laptop. Based off an original IIGS motherboard, the one-of-a-kind laptop features a 15-inch color screen, custom acrylic keyboard, a CompactFlash-based hard drive, and -- most importantly -- a glowing blue IIGS logo that flashes yellow during disk access.

The bargain of the week is a classic item and a true gem. Burst Angel Meg pioneered Yamato's CREATOR'S LABO figure series. This series features works from the greatest figure designers and sculptors of the industry like Meg's designer Ganyon (Kang Yong) and the famous Yamashita Shunya.
Meg is a charming girl with a sunny disposition and Ganyon has captured the essence of her personality to the last detail. She is now sold at a bargain price of US$ 19.90 only and the maximum purchase is limited to 1 piece per customer. As usually, this weekly special is valid for exactly 1 week (if not sold out earlier).
Quite a lot of cute small figures and toys are released this week. Like their counterparts in the game, Monster Hunter Pig Collection Trading Figures comforts the players after an intense hunt. They restore their gamers vitality simply by being there and looking sweet.
Other small toys released this week are Star Wars Lightsaber Keyrings and Tokyo Tower Light Up Collection Gashapon. Although they are from different dimensions, one is from the quintessential Star Wars series and the other is a landmark of one of the world's coolest cities, they light up the dull black night with a simple switch.
Lots of new preorders are opened this week. One of them is Final Fantasy XII Play Art Arms Box Set. Own all the weapons featured in the hottest RPG in one go. They are carefully replicated to the most minute of details and are real valuable collector's items.
Idol Master: Futami Mami is one of young girls who aspires to become an idol with you as her producer. It's difficult to gage her true potential through a TV screen, so she is made into a figure to be scrutinized under the critical eye of top producers.

Shamelessly attempting to rip off a plethora of yesteryear's gaming handhelds all at once isn't a new trick or anything, but you'd expect the creators of the Cool Boy to at least conjure up a name with some inkling of originality, right? Nevertheless, the portable, um, system features a 2.4-inch color display, gets juiced from a trio of AAA cells and even includes a video out port for taking the sweet handheld action to the 13-inch CRT. Of course, the thing only works with Cool Boy Mega Pack game cartridges, which means that even the homebrew crowd is likely out of luck here. But hey, you can get 120 sure-to-be-riveting titles in a single cart for just $7.99.

Just when you thought it couldn't get any more meta than a full NES clone hacked into an NES controller, somebody goes and mods up an NES cart to play Famicom cartridges. The all-in-one unit includes a pair of controller plugs, video out and that all-important reset switch in a pretty slick package. That's great and all, but when our grandkids start building PS3 clones out of discarded Blu-ray cases, we're seriously going to start freaking out.

I was at the flea market in Oakland yesterday when a pile of EPROMs caught my eye. When I got them home I found that they were prototypes for Colecovision games. A few were unpublished or saw limited runs, like Video Hustler (billiards). Others were fully released, like WarGames. But the crown jewel is what look to be a number of chips with various revisions of Cabbage Patch Kids Adventures in the Park for Atari 2600. This game was never released and has never been seen. It was a port of the version for Colecovision, and this lot of chips also included the Coleco version. So now I have to find someone who can dump EPROMs gently onto a PC so we can play this never-before seen game, which is almost certainly awful.

This is indeed an exciting week for all fans of Shin Megami Tensei, especially those of the Nocturne game. First we managed to locate restocks for this tremendously well recieved RPG, now we have the matching trading figures as our weekly special.
Although these figures are tiny, they are crafted and colored with care in full detail as seen in the pictures. Persuade these demons or deities to join forces with you in the game and get them to come home with you to join your increasing collection. This sixth volume include: Odin, Astarot, Troll, Pixie, Laksmi, Barong and a secret version.
The figures from Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne One Coin Series Part 6 are now sold at a bargain price of US$ 1.99 each and the maximum purchase is limited to 12 pieces per customer. Please notice that the figures are shipped out randomly. If you want a factory sealed container, please order twelve pieces. As usually, this weekly special is valid for exactly 1 week (if not sold out earlier).
Plenty of cool toys came out this week. We have one of the most popular women in gaming history, Mai Shiranui from the King of Fighters. The ninja is dressed in a glamorous black and gold tunic and holding fans which can be opened and folded up. Although she is a lethal fighter in the arena, this figure emphasized her traditional Japanese sense of grace and beauty.
Final Fantasy Miniature Trading Figures Vol. 2 is the highlight of April. Although these characters are all deadly fighters in the battle field, they are showing their lovable sides in this series.
It is an absolute treat to see how taciturn characters like Squall and Auron preserve their coolness and tough image even after they were adorably super deformed.
Preorders for Sonic the Hedgehog figures are opened this week. Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog is amongst the most recognizable mascots in gaming communities and this twelve inch statue of him cannot be overlooked.
Standing at twelve inches tall and manufactured at a limited number of three thousand pieces worldwide, this is a true collectible in high demand and we recommend our customers to preorder as soon as possible to avoid dissapointment.
Drawn by the famous illustrator Pop and sculpted by Morikawa Hiromitsu, both specialize in drawing and making cute girls, Little Red Riding Hood is the very best example of moe (translates loosely as excitingly cute.)
Painted in pastel hues with her removable hood, Little Red Riding Hood is a perfect companion for anyone.

I am wondering how much of a hassle it is to add support for my ir keyboard in pikey. Anyone done this themselves? I know I could just buy a targus board but I would really like to make mine work regardless of the time it takes. It is a dhintec. I have some programming experience oldshcool like in basic and machine language from my C64 days and have experience in programming in C+ and serial device input/output mapping to complete small projects I have done in the past (for the old footbal card hacking direct tv... it was fun while it lasted) so I am hoping this wouldnt be much more difficult. Any pointing in the right directions would be greatly appreaciated

KingMike released an english translation for the NES game Dragon Scroll.
Well, now we have a finished translation of Dragon Scroll for NES.
If you really enjoyed how the original Legend of Zelda set you off on a quest
with no real idea where to go or what to do, here you go.
While the game can be beaten in only an hour or two if you know where
everything is, good luck on that last, especially if you plan to do it without help.
I'll probably whip up an English walkthrough soon.
(I wonder how quickly the TAS crowd could beat it?)

A figure of Kousaka Tamaki from To Hearts is chosen as the bargain of the week and the cover girl of this news update. Tamaki is one of the most popular girls both within and outside the famous dating game. She is constantly seen as being surrounded by a group of followers from her school in the game and have a large fanbase in the gamers community.
Her confidence and maturity are one of the few reasons aside from beauty that contributes to her tremendous appeal, and her figure designer HIDE decides to focus on these aspects.
By sculpting her in an alluring pose he portrays her glamour, and by putting details into her eyes that seems to stare straight into your own, he brings out her confidence. To soften the whole package, the designer added layers of frills to her bikini to capture her innocent charm.
Tamaki, in her frilly bikini, is now sold at a bargain price of US$ 19.90 only and the maximum purchase is limited to 1 piece per customer. As usually, this weekly special is valid for exactly 1 week (if not sold out earlier).
Super deformed figures of characters from one of the hottest sci-fi movies came out. The Kubrick series consist of the major characters from Star Wars - The Phantom Menace. After watching their slick actions on screen, it's an enjoyable experience to play with them in the palm of your hand. May the force be with you!
As an aspiring idol, it is important for Amami Haruka to be able to move freely, naturally and gracefully. By having all the minute joints, a special feature of Frauline Revoltech figures, installed into her tiny body, she can bend and twist into the most photogenic of postures.
She comes with a set of accessories that goes with her gothic princess style: butterfly wings, bracelets, anklets, a cat's tail and a tiara. These accessories can be assembled with other characters in the series, so feel free to design the best outfit for your idols.
Quite a lot of interesting preorders are opened this week. One of the newer characters from the To Heart2 universe are joining in the league of collectible figures. Kusugawa Sarara is an eccentric girl hidden behind her French doll facade. Her maker Shiketa Udonko has brought her to life by crafting out her blank expression and the distant look in her eyes.
Naomi, drawn by the renowned figure designer Yamashita Shunya and crafted by Ogasawara Taketo, depicts a woman torn between the two Yakuza codes of conduct, giri and ninjo. While giri demands that she acts like one of the tough men in her gang, she is entitled to enjoy her priviledges as a woman under the ninjo code. By blending both masculine and feminine elements together, Naomi is definitely a collector's item.
