SuccessHK have posted a review of the Retrocon:

Introduction
While there are many new TV games on the market, you may want to experience the old gaming time. RetroCon is a brand new console specialized for Retro and Classic gamers which are compatible with old NES cartridges.
What's in the box?
The box content includes:
-RetroCon
-2 RetroCon Controllers
-AV power Adaptor
-AV Cable
The RetroCon itself is made of metallic plastic, with three available colors, black, blue and Teal, has a soft rubber on two sides. It is compact and trendy, which is just about 50% larger than a handheld console.
Features
The RetroCon supports old fashion NES cartridges. It comes with two controllers with similar shape to SFC controllers but there are auto-fire buttons on it. It supports both PAL and NTSC video mode. So it can be played on most TV system.

Using RetroCon
The display and sound quality is fine. The system runs smoothly with NES cartridges. As to the controllers, the hand held feeling is good. The direction pad provides accurate movement controls and the auto-fire function is very useful in some games especially shooting games. Every function works as expected.
Conclusion
After trying some games, it can be concluded that RetroCon, no doubt, provide what buyers expect from it V refreshing the old memories.

What a year for the DCEmu Homebrew & Gaming Network, the network expanded from the original Dreamcast site to take in all of my sites and then with the server problems we upgraded to a Vbulletin Forum and now the forums actually serve as news forums for all the network sites.
The community is expanding at a massive rate with a total of 20 sites under the network covering all these consoles
PSP
Nintendo DS
GBA Micro/GBA SP
Nintendo Gamecube
Xbox
Xbox 360
Dreamcast
PS2
PS3
GP2X
GP32
Nintendo Revolution
Tapwave Zodiac
Gizmondo
Nokia N-Gage
iPod
Retro Consoles & Gadgets
We also have some of the Homebrew scenes best developers hosted here at DCEmu:
Chui
PSmonkey/Nexis2600
GPF
We are a network of sites who post news about Homebrew, Development, Hacking, Emulation and the Commercial side of each console, we never ever take the easy road and post warez or host iso loaders etc, the quickest way to destroy a scene is to do that so we keep well away from it.
This year has seen the emergence of the PSP scene and our PSP News site has enjoyed so many releases to a new console that it has been staggering, of late the GP2X has took over the billing of the scene with the most releases but that could change at anytime.
We have over 18,000 members now and looking at the stats we had over 4100 online at one time and thats pretty damn decent, some of the scenes we cover dont see much activity but we follow them regardless.
In 2006 we hope and well with a nutter like me running the place, this network will get bigger and better and hopefully one day the legal Homebrew scene will be looked on more favourable than it has been in the past, we can but hope
Of course even though i do a heck of a lot of work id like to thank Martin64 for hosting me and my server killing sites (yeah we actually killed a server), also Soully and DS69 and indeed all the staff and mods at DCEmu and the members and helpers who make my job easier, a big thanks to you all, it has personally been a year with some great ups (this network) and some severe downs ( losing family members) but its great to come home and emerse myself in the Homebrew scene, a scene ive followed for 9 years or more (im forgetful), ive had some crackin arguments (yeah those are fun) and made some great friends but its all worth it overall, just remember though without the developers and hackers and i suppose in a smaller way newsposters and webmasters/mods etc you wouldnt have your scene, so its always worth trying to say things in a correct way even if you dislike their work or release.
Ok ive bored everyone to sleep and im drunk anyway but HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL

Game-hacker extraordinaire Ben Heckendorn has been busy in his workshop over the holidays, and this time he's whipped up something from our personal wish list: a portable Colecovision. The Colecovision To Go handheld includes a 5-inch display, custom controllers and AV out, so you can still use it on a TV set. Alas, it's currently a one-of-a-kind item built by Ben for a lucky client. But we can still live vicariously though Ben's detailed making-of page.

Source Gamespot
Tapwave's Zodiac, Tiger's Gizmondo, and Nokia's N-Gage have all recently tried to break into the lucrative portable-gaming sector. However, with little brand recognition and lukewarm software support, the first system has gone the way of Betamax--and the futures of the others are uncertain. While these handhelds were part of the new wave of multimedia portable gaming devices, it was Sony's PSP that was the Big Kahuna.
But even Sony's "must-have" PSP plays second fiddle to Nintendo's two portables, the Game Boy Advance and the DS, which account for roughly 78 percent of the handheld market. With two handheld giants to contend with and history stacking the odds against new entries into the portable market, it would seem that Nintendo and Sony will be going tête-Ã*-tête, at least for a while.
Enter iRiver. The Korean company best known for portable digital music players is reportedly unveiling the iRiver G10, its first dip into mobile gaming, at the Consumer Electronics Show taking place now in Las Vegas.
According to various reports around the Web, the unit will run on the Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system, have multiple storage options of 4GB or 8GB, and feature WiBro wireless Internet functionality. Its 4-inch 800x480-pixel color display (the PSP's screen, by comparison, is a 4.3-inch 480x272-pixel screen) and takes up much of the unit's face. However, in a move similar to T-Mobile's Sidekick phones, the front slides up, revealing two D pads, and select, start, and on/off buttons.
However, none of the aforementioned details for the G10 have been confirmed by iRiver, and inquires to representatives for the company had not been answered as of press time.
GameSpot will have more information from CES soon.

Games journalists would have you believe that every year in this industry is one of relentless excitement - it's how we justify those easy-to-write preview features that dominate games mags every January. But 2006 - with a three-way battle between Microsoft's Xbox 360, Sony's PlayStation 3 (PS3) and Nintendo's Revolution - will justify the hype. This is year one of the next generation - a generation of multicore consoles that take a great swing away from past technology.
However, those hoping for a new game type to take us into the high-definition era may be disappointed. The most anticipated titles of this year are franchise old-timers - Final Fantasy XII on PS2; Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess on GameCube; Metal Gear Solid 4 and Vision Gran Turismo on PS3; and Tomb Raider Legend on practically everything. Publishers are still relying on games that have been around for more than a decade. Yawn.
Perhaps the best we can hope for is a few genre mashups. Dirge of Cerberus from Square Enix, for example, is a shoot-'em-up based around role-playing game (RPG) classic Final Fantasy VII, while the long-awaited Starcraft Ghost will be a stealth action take on the successful battle strategy series. I fully expect some bright spark to combine last year's key genres - the second world war shooter and the gangland adventure. In this spiv-'em-up, you travel around Europe selling silk underwear and contraband dairy products while occasionally bashing Fritz. Come to think of it, I'll pitch it to Electronic Arts this afternoon.
A few original titles lurk in the shadows. If you own a PS2, the domestic robot sim Chibi Robo, the surreal collecting game We Love Katamari and the extraordinary Japanese adventures Shadow of Colossus and Okami should all be on your must-have list. The Nintendo DS has more offbeat treats, with courtroom drama Phoenix Wright and hospital adventure Trauma Centre coming soon.
Those despairing to ever see a game hero named Alan should hold out for Xbox 360 psychological horror title Alan Wake, about an author who finds himself in his own nightmarish fictional world. The 360 does well for original titles - look out for Bioware's much-vaunted sci-fi RPG Mass Effect, and Too Human, a proposed space adventure trilogy from Silicon Knights, the Canadian chaps behind Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes and excellent GameCube adventure Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem.
Of course, there will also be Rockstar - this time with Bully, a Grand Theft Auto-goes-to-school shocker. As for leftfield sleeper hits, I'd put a few quid on Psychonauts, a surreal cartoon adventure by Tim Schafer, the co-creator of such LucasArts classics as Day of the Tentacle and Grim Fandango. It's another one about school kids - this time set in a psychic summer camp. Perhaps education will be the hip genre of 06. Now that really would be shocking.

TOPPLER PSP v0.5
This is a psp adoptation of the game "NEBULOUS/Tower Toppler" written and hosted by people @
http://toppler.sourceforge.net
This is still a beta version with some known bugs, which I skipped due to time restrictions.

GOAL
----
The goal of the game is to navigate a little green dude toward the top of the tower.
But finding the way by using elevators and walking trough a maze of
doors and platforms is not the only problem you have to solve. There
are a bunch of other creatures living on the tower that will hinder you
to reach your target by pushing you over the edge of the platforms.
The only weapon of defence you have is to throw a little snowball. But
most of the other creatures just don't care about this. So you must
avoid them.
A little submarine brings you from one tower to the next. On this way
you have the chance to get some bonus points by catching fish. All you
have to do is to catch a fish in a bubble with your torpedo and then
collect the fish.
INSTALLATION
--------
1.5 users: copy contents of 1.5 folder to ms:/PSP/GAME
1.0 use EBOOT.PBP from 1.0 folder with data files from 1.5 folder
2.0 Please let me know if either version works with the latest eboot loader for 2.0 firmware
CONTROLS

Polaroid have unveiled a new console with 80Gigs Built in Hard Drive and could this be the contender to knock the PSP/DS/GP2X from their high horses.
Source - Engadget
Polaroid seems to be branching out even farther from their traditional instant-but-washed-out photography model (they already sell all kinds of CE gear that tends to fly below the radar), as they were showing off yet two more non-imaging devices at CES. The first was an 80GB PMP with a nice-looking widescreen display that will supposedly be available in the fall for $600. Even more curious was some sort of PSP-like portable gaming console that may not be destined for the States judging by the non-English characters on its screen. Whatever regions are getting this will see it in August, although neither price nor other minor deets (processor, graphics, resolution, titles, networking capabilities, PMP features, etc.) were available. You can peep this mystery machine after the jump...

The Xplore m98 is an excellent attempt at miniaturising a full PalmOS device into a tiny clamshell design ?apart from the 1.3in 260,000-colour screen, the triband GSM phone has WAP 2.0, GPRS Class 10 and support for MP3 ringtones. The phone’s memory is also expandable ?underneath the battery there’s a card slot that supports TransFlash media.
The Xplore X98 has two different graphical user interfaces ?one that works much like a phone with simplified icons, and the other is the full PalmOS interface. The logic is that the regular phone interface is meant to keep things simple and allow you to quickly access phone functions without having to scroll through an intimidating number of icons. However, if you want to access the full PDA functions, all you have to do is press a button and the familiar PalmOS graphical user interface will appear.
On the PalmOS side, the phone comes with all the usual applications, including a version of the QuickOffice suite, which allows you to view and edit Word and Excel documents, as well as access e-mail and view attachments. Of course, some concessions had to be made to keep the size of the phone down. While the touchscreen display has a good resolution of 176 x 220pixels, the small size of the screen might make text entry a little challenging. However, the phone makes up for it by allowing you enter text anywhere on the screen instead of just in a small, delineated area. This is in addition to the regular keypad input method.

The new iPod boasts up to 20 hours of battery life, five hours more than before. Plus, you get a bigger display and one more iPod color--sleek black. Even the new 60 GB model is 10 percent thinner than the fourth-generation 20 GB iPod. More features in less space? Sounds like iPod.

Browse your memories with photo slideshows, complete with music. Watch video podcasts, music videos and your favorite TV shows. Consult your calendar or look up an email address. News From Lik Sang
Who says Santa only comes once a year? Over the past weeks since Christmas we've received bundles of cool new toys from Mario and Goomba remote controlled figures and computer mice, to Tekken 5 Busts, Naruto and Bleach plushes, and many, many more.
Nintendo Figures and All Sorts of Hot Gadgets
First out of the bag are four of Nintendo's most recognizable faces, Mario, Yoshi, Donkey Kong and Goomba. Each Super Mario Bros. star is brought to life by Banpresto through large 12 cm (4.7 inches) figures at US$ 12.95 apiece. All are brightly colored and fully adjustable so you can set the scene for your very own Super Smash Bros. fight. You may however want to avoid displaying them on the mantle with the good china, just in case they go Toy Story on ya. On the other hand if you'd like that, Nintendo fans and small furry animals alike will go wild over the next items, mini remote controlled Mario and Goomba figures! That's right, these 4cm dudes (1.6 inches) can't wait to take a stroll around your office desk, or sneak up on your pet hamster! Best of all though, the remote controller is a replica of the classic Famicom pad, and each character is US$ 16.95 only.
Microsoft's blue glowing ergonomic 20 button laser mice be dammed, the next items we received this week are the coolest pointers you can buy for your PC or Mac. Officially licensed by Nintendo, these two button USB mice are 9cm (3.5 inches) in size and in the classic design of sprites Mario and Goomba from Super Mario Bros. No longer will Nintendo fans like this guy have to hack up a perfectly good NES pad and Logitech mouse, they can treasure these instead for only US$ 14.95 each!
More than just guaranteed eye catchers for your gaming grotto, we have the Nintendo Dotgraphics figures with sound. These 3D pixel style works of art come on stylish black display stands and are 9cm (3.5 inches) in size. Including Donkey Kong, Mario Bros. Super Mario Bros., Ice Climber, Balloon Fight, The Legend of Zelda and two more secret titles, they're sure to bring back fond memories (unless your recollection of playing Super Mario Bros. largely consists of wrestling your six larger brothers for the frigg'n NES controller!) At a fantastic US$ 8.90 each, you'll have to grab them fast, but first you can jump over to the official website here and click on the various displays to hear the sounds they produce.
These are just the latest in our massive ever growing line-up of Nintendo toys, figures, keychains, gadgets and more, all of which you can feast your eyes on in our dedicated Nintendo category. Before last week though, we also snapped up a lot of cool Capcom, Bleach and Naruto collectables over the Christmas holidays, and for all you avid merchandise fans out there we still have these in stock:
Detailed Figures from the Darkness of Biohazard 4
Whether or not you're picking up a copy of the latest Biohazard Deadly Silence this week, chances are the revolutionary Biohazard 4 has and will always have a special place in your memories (and possibly worst nightmares!). Hence toy manufacturer Agatsuma has covered all major characters in their series of seven mini figures, including Leon Kennedy, Ada Wong, Ashley and Chainsaw Ganado just to name a few. Fully painted and ready for display right out of the box, these great collectible items are a wonderful US$ 4.95 each. They even come with some free candy to hold off any larger zombie appetites that may arise after picking up these figures
If you're after something larger though, at US$ 19.95 we still have stock of the massive 18 to 22cm (7 to 9 inches) figures of Leon Kennedy with and without a jacket, Ada Wong, Verdugo, and Chainsaw Ganado. Or if you're looking for more Capcom Goodies, you can't go wrong checking out our whole range here.
Namco and Capcom Punch out High Quality Busts for Tekken 5 and Capcom Fighting Jam
Next, Capcom Fighting Jam packs the entire explosive Beat'em Up legacy of the Japanese master developer, so it's only right that this ambitious title got honored in toy form too, courtesy of Max Factory. For US$ 6.95 each there are six famous fighters from SF II, III, Alpha 3, Darkstalkers and Red Earth, including celebrities Ryu, Pyron, Demitri Maximoff, Alex, Guy and Leo. On the other hand if you're a Tekken follower TomyTech have the perfect accessories to jazz up your home entertainment center at only US$ 7.95 each. These Tekken 5 Magstage Figures are highly detailed mini busts of Jin Kazama, Ling Xiaoyu, Feng Wei, Asuka Kazama, Hwoarang and Raven. Either or both the Capcom figures and Tekken busts would look even better still next to the weapon of choice for serious 2D Beat'em Up brawlers
New Keychains and a Cute Hard as Nails Plush Doll Series for Bleach
Besides Naruto, there's one other manga and anime gamers go gaga over right now: Bleach. Beyond titles for GameCube and PSP already out, then NDS next week and PS2 next month, we recently received the Bleach 2 in 1 Keychains. Featuring five characters including our main hero Ichigo, you also receive an extra weapon dangling off the key holder. Banpresto is again responsible for the particularly fine job here, and sporting great detail and painted finish for a 7cm (2.7 inches) size, these keychain mini figures are perfect for showing off your Bleach love at US$ 5.95 each.
Also by Banpresto, the Bleach Plush Doll Series 2 offers five different fighters made of soft, cushion-like material and depicted with a meal look in a sitting position. Should you ever (heaven forbid!) loose a match, you can vent off your anger by throwing them instead of your controller against the wall! Around 17cm (6.6 inches) in size, they'll also sit right next to you on the sofa as your silent super move coaches. These are available randomly at a low US$ 8.95, but beyond that we also recommend browsing our complete catalog for all things Bleach.
Naruto, King of Anime receives Exciting Toys and Cool Stuff
Finally for this round up we come to the star of the manga and anime scene: Naruto. While you wait for the next games to hit your PSP in March, PS2 (US release!) early this year, or the NDS during the second quarter, we have everything you need to populate your own Hidden Leaf Village. Standing tall at approx. 28cm (10.9 inches), the Naruto DX Series of Plushes from Banpresto include fighting experts Naruto and Kakashi. Offering bright colors and a cute Japanese style, the cuddly Ninjas won't need Ninjutsu stealth skills to leave our warehouse; they are free to go for just US$ 16.95 each
Similar to the Bleach key holders mentioned above, the Naruto 2 in 1 Keychains we have in stock sport five fighters from the anime, along with a little extra trinket attached (e.g. a small animal replica). About 4cm (1.6 inches) in size and US$ 5.95 each, they'll look great with your keys, whether they're for your new Porsche, your gym locker, or just the good old work toilet. Then last of all we received some neat straps featuring a fantastic Naruto plush. These come from 'you guessed it' Banpresto, in one of five characters, and are about 8cm (3.1 inches) long. Brightly colored and officially licensed, these straps with the chibi style plushes ship randomly for only US$ 6.95 apiece. Beyond those we still have lots more interesting toys, goodies and merchandise in stock for all Naruto enthusiasts too, which through our dedicated category you can check out all our vast range has to offer.

This is a port of OpenJazz for the Sega Dreamcast.
OpenJazz is a free, open-source version of the classic Jazz Jackrabbitâ„¢ games. OpenJazz can be compiled on a wide range of operating systems, including Windows 98/Me/XP and Linux. To play, you will need the files from one of the original games.
With the demise of DOS-based operating systems, it has become necessary to use emulators to play old DOS games. Jazz Jackrabbitâ„¢ deserves more - and would benefit greatly from new features.
OpenJazz was started on the 23rd of August, 2005, by Alister Thomson - http://treacle.hewwo.com/jazz/oj/index.html. Academic pressures put the project on hold for several months, but OpenJazz is now back in development for the foreseeable future.
Burn the scrambled bin with the pc dos datafiles on the root of the cd.
Support is for Jazz Jackrabbit: Shareware Edition
Jazz Jackrabbit: Christmas Edition
Jazz Jackrabbit: Holiday Hare '95
Enjoy,
Troy(GPF)

This is a port of CloneKeen for the Sega Dreamcast.
CloneKeen is an almost almost complete open-source clone of
the old classic DOS game, Commander Keen: Invasion of the
Vorticons by ID Software. CloneKeen requires the original game
data files to work. You can play all three episodes of the game.
CloneKeen currently runs under win32, with SDL, and
under Linux/X11, with SDL.
and now the Dreamcast

Dave Gnukem PSP
About Dave GNUkem
Dave Gnukem is a 2D scrolling platform shoot-em-up. It is very similar to (and inspired by) Duke Nukem 1.

Credits
David Joffe - Coding, sprites, levels.
Felix Richter - Documentation contributions.
Steve Merrifield - Level contribution.
Denis Televnyy - PSP Port.
PSP version features:
1) improved sound fx handling
2) music soundtrack support. I dropped an ogg file from NOIZ2SA as an example; any ogg/s3m/xm/mod file
can be used, just name it stage.[ogg/xm/s3m/mod] and drop it in the sounds directory.
3) snaphot mode
4) c/c++ source code with makefile profided for those who want to study/improve the game.
5) the game is very much modable: you can create new levels with the windows version editor and edit the
game's graphics.

News from Lik Sang
The rumors have ended... 10 days later than what Japanese retailers and Lik Sang were speculating on. Nintendo of Japan has now made the official announcement everybody was waiting for: the Nintendo DS new look is named DS Lite and is coming out in Japan and on Lik-Sang.com this March 2nd of 2006, in five weeks from now. We are writing down reservations from this minute on for US$ 169. We recommend getting yourself in the preorder queue quickly if you want to be one of the first lucky few to hold it in your hands, "there is never enough of the good stuff on a launch day" as veteran gamers have learnt to know well already.
As the "Lite" extension suggests, the Nintendo DS dimensions and weight have been reduced by 42% and 21% respectively. The NDS Lite will be 148.7mm wide, 84.7mm high and 28.9mm deep and 215 grams only. The screens apparently will not be affected even though Nintendo did not go into that clearly in their statement. Oh, and guess what, it will be portable and fits in your pocket. Apart from that, there is no other major change except for a cool brightness adjustment feature that has been added, with four modes to select from. Start and Select are moved to the right, the power button is not visible on the face of the machine and may have been moved to the side, while the microphone has moved to the hinge between the two screens. Nintendo of Japan has only released two images of the fashionably-white Nintendo DS Lite at press time, we'll post more as it reaches our desk.
